Karine Pedneault PhD
Karine Pedneault, Ph.D., Associate Professor at Université du Québec en Outaouais: Prof. Pedneault holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry, a Master's and a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from Université Laval, Quebec, Canada. Over the past 15 years, she has specialized in viticulture and enology in California, Nova Scotia and Quebec. She currently conducts her research program on cold-hardy and disease-resistant Vitis varieties and wine production in challenging environments at Université du Québec en Outaouais, where she also leads her metabolomics platform.

Darek Trowbridge, has 20+ years of hands-on experience in the art and science of vineyard management, grape production, and natural winemaking. Proprietor of Old World Winery in Sonoma, he practices what he refers to as “pastoral” winemaking. His passion is inviting nature into his winemaking.
